Go Green for God

Go Green for God

This ministry provides an opportunity to recycle items that can be re-used in other areas of the community. We currently collect eyeglass for the Lion’s Club, coupons for the military, box tops for Tomball Elementary, Bibles for TOMAGWA Medical Ministries’ patients, greeting cards for St. Jude’s Youth Ranch, and beanie babies for deployed military to give to children. Our contact person is Madaline Weber at webertm@peoplepc.com.

Heartfelt Stitchers

Heartfelt Stitchers

An ongoing program that provides prayer blankets for you to take to friends or families in need. Often used by the pastoral staff for hospital visits but are available for anyone to take and give away. Each prayer blanket is prayed over for the recipient by members of the Heartfelt Stitchers team. It may be a quilted blanket, crocheted, knitted, etc. Contact person is Cindy Whitehead at cindy.whitehead@tomballumc.org.

TOMAGWA Healthcare Ministries

We financially and physically support this Christian based healthcare clinic located in the Tomball community. TOMAGWA provides medical, dental, and counseling services to individuals in our surrounding communities who cannot receive care in another setting. To volunteer at TOMAGWA call Ana Rosa Guerrero at TOMAGWA at (281) 357-0747.

Blood Drive

Annually we work with either MD Anderson Blood Center or Gulf Coast Blood Center to provide blood drive opportunities at the church.

Angel Tree

Angel Tree is a Christmas project – we work with Salvation Army and Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministries to provide Christmas gifts to individuals who are less fortunate in our community. The contact person for this project is Jane Tank at janetank@att.com
